These terms cover use of the pulsemyhobby.co.za website and the PulseMyHobby product. By using either, you agree to them.

What PulseMyHobby is

PulseMyHobby is a search and discovery tool for hobby products, and a native Classifieds marketplace where hobbyists post and browse their own listings. It helps you search supported South African hobby shops from one place and see available price and stock information so you can compare them, and lets you buy and sell hobby gear directly with other hobbyists through Classifieds.

What PulseMyHobby is not

PulseMyHobby is not a retailer. We don't sell the products shown in search results, we don't hold stock, and we don't process hobby-shop purchases. When you buy something from a search result, that purchase happens directly with the third-party retailer, under their own terms.

Classifieds

Classifieds listings are created and owned by the hobbyists who post them, not by PulseMyHobby. PulseMyHobby is not the seller, is not a party to any sale, and does not process payments between buyers and sellers. Buyers and sellers deal with each other directly. A seller is responsible for the accuracy of their own listing and chooses which contact details (WhatsApp, email, or both) to share with other users; PulseMyHobby never shows a contact detail a seller didn't choose to share. You can report a listing that looks like a scam, a prohibited item, misleading, spam, or offensive using the Report Listing action, and we may remove listings or restrict accounts that misuse Classifieds. Prices and availability

Prices and stock information shown on PulseMyHobby come from supported hobby retailers and sources, and can change at any time. We don't guarantee that the price or stock status shown is accurate or current. Always confirm the final price and availability with the retailer before you buy.

Third-party sites

Links to hobby shops take you to third-party websites we don't control. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply once you're there.

Service availability

We aim to keep PulseMyHobby running reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Supported retailer data can be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable.

Acceptable use

Don't use PulseMyHobby to scrape, resell, or misrepresent the service, share your account with people it wasn't issued to, or interfere with its normal operation. We may suspend or revoke access for accounts used this way.

Accounts and one entitlement across apps

A PulseMyHobby account is one email/password sign-in shared across every supported client: the web app and the macOS/Windows desktop apps. Your trial or paid access is tied to your account, not to any one device or platform: sign in with the same account anywhere PulseMyHobby is available and your access carries over automatically. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account.

Paid access

PulseMyHobby offers a 7-day free trial, after which continued access costs a once-off R100 for a further 3 months. This is not a subscription: it is not billed automatically, does not recur, and does not renew itself. You choose when to pay for another 3-month period, any time before or after your current access ends. Paid access is applied on top of any trial or paid time you have remaining, not instead of it, so renewing early never loses you unused time.

Payment is processed by PayFast, a third-party payment processor. We never receive or store your card details. Access is only ever granted once your payment has been independently confirmed on our server. Reaching a payment provider's confirmation page by itself does not grant access. Paid renewal is being finalised; until it's available, the 7-day free trial can still be started and used in full.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever that happens.
