How to Use PulseMyHobby Classifieds

Classifieds is free

Browsing is free. Creating listings is free. PulseMyHobby charges no listing fee and takes no commission on a sale, and it never handles the payment between a buyer and seller.

Browsing Classifieds

Browse listings by category, or search by keyword across every active listing. Open a listing to see its photos, price, condition, description and other details the seller chose to add, along with likes and views where shown. Browsing and searching don't require an account.

Contacting a seller

PulseMyHobby doesn't have an internal messaging or chat system. Instead, a listing shows a WhatsApp Seller button, an Email Seller button, or both, depending on which the seller chose to enable and consented to share.

Selecting either button opens WhatsApp or your email app to contact the seller directly; PulseMyHobby never sends a message on your behalf. Seller contact details aren't published openly on the page: you need to register or sign in (it's free) before they're shown, and PulseMyHobby never shows them to a signed-out visitor.

Create a listing

Creating a listing is a photo-first flow:

1. Add photos – you can start adding photos before you save anything else
2. Choose For Sale or Wanted, and a category: Aircraft, RC Cars, Boats, Drones, Electronics, Engines, Parts, Model Kits, Trains, Tools, or Other
3. Enter a title
4. Enter a description
5. Choose a condition where applicable: New, Like New, Used Good, Used Fair, or For Parts
6. Set a price (leave it blank for POA), and optionally mark it negotiable
7. Save Draft, Preview Listing, or Publish

Photos

Add up to 8 photos per listing. You can reorder them, remove any of them, and choose which one is the cover photo. Photos you add before your first save are staged and attached automatically once the listing exists, so you don't lose them.

Drafts

Selecting Save Draft keeps your listing private and unpublished. Return to it any time from the Drafts tab in My Classifieds to finish and publish it.

My Classifieds

Manage everything you've posted from four tabs: Active, Sold, Drafts, and Expired.

Editing

You can edit your own listing at any time. An ordinary edit, such as fixing a typo or updating the description, does not bump the listing back to the top.

Bumping

A listing can be bumped using the Bump Listing button, but no more than once every 7 days, measured from whichever is more recent: when it was created, or when it was last bumped. Normal editing never resets or bypasses this cooldown. Bump Listing simply won't be available again until the 7 days are up.

Price drops

You can lower your price at any time. When you do, PulseMyHobby can show your old and new price with a Price Drop indicator. A price drop does not bump your listing and does not bypass the 7-day bump cooldown.

Mark as sold

Once your item is sold, select Mark Sold. The listing moves to your Sold tab and comes off public browse. A sold listing can't be reactivated, so only mark something sold once the sale is done.

Listing expiry

A listing that's had no activity (no bump, no edit) for 60 days expires and comes off public browse. It moves to your Expired tab, where you can bring it back with a Relist action whenever you're ready.

Likes, views and watching

Liking a listing is a simple, one-time signal per person. Views count once per viewer roughly every 24 hours, so refreshing a listing you already viewed doesn't inflate its count, and your own views of your own listing aren't counted.

Report a listing

Every listing has a Report Listing button. Choose a reason (scam, prohibited item, misleading, spam, offensive, or other), add an optional note, and select Submit Report. Our team reviews reports; you'll see a confirmation once yours is submitted.
